 Hypa is a group of two brothers, signed to dreams record. Hypa's  journey as a music group started from their neighborhood in Bariga Lagos . Growing up, the duo was nicknamed Hypa because of their energetic exuberance which is obvious in their stage and video performances. Core natives of Lagos island, Lagos state, Ekemode Rasheed Enitan and Ekemode Ganiu omobolaji also known as Ray and Jay respectively were birthed by civilized parents who urged that they get fully equipped with academic knowledge before plunging into their musical career. Both are graduate of Mass communication and Banking and Finance from Lagos state university.
     The brothers broke the internet late last year, with their audio and video for the song titled ASIKO featuring 9ICE and backed it up with another masterpiece visuals to their banging Hit song DANCE, dropped early 2018, which is been aired on major radio and television stations. Their style can be described as a contemporary Afro/Highlife which is heavily influenced by veteran artistes like FELA KUTI , KING SUNNY ADE , and EBENEZER OBEY and their uncle ORLANDO JULIUS EKEMODE. with strong conviction , HYPA music group have what it takes to compete in the Nigerian music scene.
